Hi from Kevin!

Greetings from Colorful Colorado. I’m glad you’re visiting the site, and hope it’s interesting and maybe even a little bit helpful.

I’m making lamps from Bourbon Bottles (typically Kentucky distilleries). I love a good bourbon, and I hate throwing away nicer bottles. So let there be light! My favorite bottles so far have been Blanton’s Single Barrel (favorite bourbon), Willett Pot Still Reserve (pretty bottle), and Laws Whiskey House (thick glass).

I’m also (slowly) building furniture in my workshop. You’ll see posts for that from time to time, along with shots of my favorite tools (typically DeWALT, JET, and Bosch).

Finally, I’m continuing with home improvement. Yep, posts there too. That work is slowing in favor of carpentry but I’m sure I’m not done!
